How can we help?

Answers to the questions parents ask most. Still stuck? Email hey@readysitgo.app.

Getting started

How do I set up Ready Sit Go?

  1. Add each kid. Allergies (each with a severity and what to do), medications with dose and times or “as needed,” the routine (bedtime, naps, meals, screen time), comfort items, what works when they’re upset, and their doctor and pharmacy.
  2. Fill in the house card. Address, Wi-Fi, parking, pets, house rules and where things are. Alarm and door codes are optional and stay off the sheet unless you choose.
  3. Check your emergency contacts. 911 and Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) are already there. Add grandparents, neighbors and anyone else from Contacts.
  4. When it’s time to go, tap Send Tonight.

That’s it. After the first setup you just keep it current, and your co-parent can help.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Co-parent sharing needs each parent to have an iPhone and iCloud. The sitter doesn’t need anything: they get a PDF, an image, a text or a printout.

Is Ready Sit Go on the App Store yet?

Not yet. It’s coming soon for iPhone. Email us and we’ll let you know when it launches.

Sharing with your co-parent

How do I invite my co-parent?

  1. Open Settings › Share with co-parent.
  2. Send the invite by Messages, Mail or as a link.
  3. Your co-parent opens the link on their iPhone, and your family appears in Ready Sit Go on their phone.

If they install the app from the invite link, they should tap the link again once it’s installed, or open the app and use Paste invite link.

Sharing is free and private. It runs on iCloud, so each of you needs an iPhone signed in to iCloud.

My co-parent uses Android. Can they use it?

They can’t edit with you, because sharing needs an iPhone and iCloud. They can always get the Tonight sheet like any sitter would: as a PDF, an image or text.

What if iCloud is full or I’m signed out?

Ready Sit Go keeps working on your iPhone, and everything you enter stays on the phone. Syncing and sharing with your co-parent need you to be signed in to iCloud with enough space.

The sitter’s sheet

What does the sitter see?

One clean “Tonight” PDF:

  • Page 1: the date, the sitter, your back-by time, where you’ll be, the evening timeline (bedtimes and med times across all your kids), allergies with severe ones first, who to call, the address for 911 and the Wi-Fi with a QR code to join.
  • Then one page per kid, then the house and your contacts.

They never need the app. You send it by AirDrop, Messages, Mail or Print.

Can I send it as a text instead of a PDF?

Yes. Send the sheet as an image, or copy it as text and paste it into a message.

Can I change the paper size?

Yes. Ready Sit Go makes sheets in US Letter or A4. Pick one in Settings › Paper.

Are alarm and door codes on the sheet?

Not unless you choose. They’re kept on your house card and left off the sheet by default. Saved sitters remember whether they get the alarm code.

Can I see sheets I sent before?

Yes. Past sheets are saved exactly as sent. The free version keeps the last 3, and Pro keeps them all.

Reminders, privacy & Face ID

How do med-time reminders work?

They go to your own phone, not the sitter’s. At each med time you get a notification like “8:00 PM: Lily’s amoxicillin 5 ml. Text the sitter?” Tap Text sitter and Messages opens with the message already written.

Reminders are local notifications on your iPhone, so allow notifications for Ready Sit Go when it asks.

How does the Face ID lock work?

It’s optional. Turn on Lock with Face ID in Settings to keep the app behind Face ID. Whether or not the lock is on, the app hides its screen in the app switcher.

Can you see my family’s information?

No. There’s no account and no server. Your data lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Our App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.” Read the privacy policy for details.

Pro & purchases

What does Pro include?

Pro removes the free limits (2 kids, 1 saved sitter, last 3 past sheets), so kids, sitters and history are unlimited. You can also remove the “Made with Ready Sit Go” footer. Sheet themes and a sheet in your sitter’s language (Spanish first) are coming soon.

Pro is $9.99 once. It’s not a subscription.

Does my co-parent need to buy Pro too?

No. One purchase covers your household, co-parent included, and Family Sharing is on.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings › Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy Pro.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We never see your payment details.

Safety & your data

Is this medical advice?

No. Ready Sit Go is a note-keeping tool. It records what you type and gives no medical advice. In an emergency, call 911. For medical questions, ask your child’s doctor.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings › Delete all data. This removes your household from your iPhone and your iCloud. If you own a shared household, it’s removed for your co-parent too. If you joined your co-parent’s household, it’s removed from your phone and they keep their copy.

Sheets you’ve already sent stay wherever you sent them, so ask the sitter to delete them after use.
